Maxime Grégoire
Representative, Southeast Region

Maxime Grégoire hails from the Abitibi-Témiscamingue region of Ontario. Since 2017, he has held the position of Lead Teacher at Sainte-Marie-Rivier Catholic Secondary School in Kingston, where he plays a significant role in the professional development of his colleagues and the implementation of the school's educational vision.

Maxime earned a Bachelor of Arts with a major in History and a Bachelor of Education from the University of Ottawa in 2011 and 2012, respectively. His teaching career began with the Conseil des écoles publiques de l'Est de l'Ontario in Ottawa as a substitute teacher and later at the Kativik School Board, where he not only taught but also actively participated in enriching cultural exchanges and learned Inuktitut to better integrate into the Inuit community.

In addition to his teaching responsibilities, Maxime has continued his professional development by adding additional qualifications to his portfolio. He first became a specialist in History, then in Technology Integration, and finally as a School Guidance Specialist. Maxime Grégoire is also trained in first aid, crisis intervention (ASIST and CPI), and concussion awareness, demonstrating his commitment to student well-being.
