Vicki Demers holds a degree in Occupational Therapy from the University of Ottawa and has over 20 years’ experience in the health care field. Ms. Demers has worked for the Geriatric Psychiatry Community Services of Ottawa for more than 17 years, serving as Executive Director since March 2016. She also sits on a number of regional committees: she co-Chairs the Ottawa Suicide Prevention Coalition, and serves on the Regional Geriatric Advisory Committee (RGAC), the Champlain Dementia Network, and a number of sub-committees, including the RGAC French language services sub-committee.
