FLS Capacity Building Day 2017: A unique training opportunity in Kingston2017-09-21
On October 20, Kingston will hold its first ever French-Language Health Services (FLS) Capacity Building Day. With over 10 workshops tailored to healthcare professionals, frontline workers, managers and executives, this bilingual event is a unique opportunity to build your organization’s FLS capacity and to enhance patient-centered care!
Hosted by the French Language Health Services Network of Eastern Ontario (the Réseau), this training day will focus on current issues pertaining to French-language services, such as: language barriers, patient perspective, equity and quality of care, patient engagement, fostering a bilingual organizational culture, HR and recruitment tools, as well as designation tools and strategies.

Who should attend: Healthcare Professionals, Senior Management, Service Managers, Local System Planners, Policy Makers, Governance, HR and FLS Leads, Frontline Workers, Volunteers Coordinators. Professionals working across the continuum of care are welcome!
